Building On Success – A Refreshed Strategic Direction

The Upper Clutha A&P Society Board’s previous strategy had been in place for almost three years, during which most of its key objectives were achieved. These included launching the Wanaka A&P Foundation to invest in rural leadership and community initiatives, securing the extension of the Show Grounds Right to Occupy, developing new events (to be launched shortly), refreshing the Society’s brand, and creating a more diversified income stream.

With these milestones largely complete, the Board recently reviewed and updated its strategy, setting new goals for the years ahead while retaining the Society’s core values of Heritage, Collaborative, Open, and Prudent.
